Singleton Council said it’s time for Transport for New South Wales to cough up the cash required to re-establish the waterworks facility elsewhere in the town.
The department is forcing the council to hand over the site on Waterworks Lane for the Singleton Bypass but is refusing to pay a fair market price.
Mayor Sue Moore said the State Government’s latest offer is still five-million dollars short.
