The sacking of popular Upper Hunter Shire Councillor Elizabeth Flaherty appears far from over.
The popular ratepayer’s representative was removed from her role last week after not attending three ordinary council meetings.
Councillor Flaherty has now lodged a request for the decision to be reviewed by the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal.

This comes as the council holds an Extraordinary Meeting this afternoon to decide if they will move to fill the position less than five months out from the next election.
