Glencore singled out in gender pay gap stats

A bad rap for one of the biggest companies in the Upper Hunter when it comes to the gender pay gap.

Glencore, which operates nine coal mines here, pays its male employees 41-point-1 percent more than their female counterparts.

At the same time, the difference between men and women at BHP Coal, which owns the Mount Arthur Coal Mine in Muswellbrook is just 0.7 percent.
