The current heatwave has sent many locals to waterways across the Upper Hunter to find some temporary relief including Lake St Clair and Glenbawn Dam.
In fact, the people at Lake St Clair have issued a plea for no more visitors this weekend.
They are completely chokka’s with everything booked out and say anyone who turns up that doesn’t have a booking will be turned around.
