Turbine road bottlenecks to be addressed

Revelations this morning the State Government will address the problem of getting massive wind turbines through the Upper Hunter in the Budget next week.

$100 million will reportedly be allocated to address current bottlenecks in the road network between the Port of Newcastle and Renewable Energy Zones to our west and north.

But it is not clear if any of the funding will go to the low-lying Muswellbrook rail crossing over the New England Highway or Denman Bridge.
