Singleton Council has confirmed tender applications have now closed for repair work on Lemington Road at Jerry’s Plains.
Motorists have been forced to take a 25 minute detour since a land slip forced the road to be closed five months ago.
Council General Manager Jason Linnane said he hopes the road can be reopened by the end of October.
