A fire in Aberdeen overnight on the edge of the golf course….but it was started by local firefighters.
A crew from Fire and Rescue New South Wales Station 208 conducting a hazard reduction burn.
Flames reached a few metres high at times with the fire producing intense heat, which also doubled as a training opportunity for some of the crew.

Deputy Captain David Kerr said it’s important residents let them know if they are planning a burn off themselves.
