Two Upper Hunter on-call firefighters won’t be available to respond to emergencies this weekend.
Liam and Kiaran Hobbs will instead be out of town taking part in the annual ‘Firies Climb for MND’ program, this year up and down the Furber Steps at Katoomba in the Blue Mountains.
The pair will run up and down almost 1,000 steps several times with an extra 10 kilos strapped on for extra fun.
