A police crackdown on the alleged supply of illegal drugs in the Upper Hunter has resulted in the second arrest in less than two weeks.
Detectives arrested a 36-year-old woman yesterday after searching a home on Virginia Street in Denman.
She was taken to Muswellbrook Police Station where she was charged with:

- Supply prohibited drug > indictable and < commercial quantity;
- Supply prohibited drug > = large commercial quantity
- Possess prohibited drug
The woman was refused bail to appear before Singleton Local Court today.
Yesterday’s arrest follows the arrest of an Aberdeen man on serious drug supply charges 13 days ago.
In February 2024, Hunter Valley Police District detectives established Strike Force Smollett to investigate the alleged supply of prohibited drugs in Muswellbrook.
