Current Deputy Mayor Jennifer Lecky is understood not to be seeking re-election with a few councillors to contest the role.
meanwhile…..Maurice Collison was re-elected Mayor and James Burns, Deputy Mayor at last night’s meeting.
They were the only nominations for the roles.
Singleton Council is not required to do the same because Mayor Sue Moore was popularly elected by the town’s ratepayers.
