Scam alert for guests with bookings at Lake St Clair Park

Lake St Clair Park in the Hunter Valley has warned guests about a WhatsApp scam targeting people with bookings at the park.

In a post, the park said it was aware of the scam and wanted to make clear that it does not use WhatsApp to contact guests.

Anyone who receives a WhatsApp message about their booking is urged not to click on any links, provide personal information or make any payments. The park says people should instead block and report the sender.

Guests with concerns about their booking are encouraged to contact the Lake St Clair team directly.
