Wait Uma Thurman’s in this? I am sat.
From Amazon Prime comes “Pretty Lethal”, a new action thriller film starring a stacked women’s cast. Being lead by the incredible Uma Thurman, the cast is rounded out by other immensely talented women such as; Iris Apatow, Lana Condor, Millicent Simmonds, Avantika, Maddie Ziegler, and Lydia Leonard.
You may recognise a few of those names as dancers before actresses, well there is good reason for that. Pretty Lethal follows the story of five ballerinas as they prep and make way to an upcoming competition. However, all five dancers are not exactly on the best of terms with each other, which is only made worse when their bus breakdowns in the middle of the woods. Seeking shelter, the ballerina’s run into Uma Thurman’s character Devora, a former ballet prodigy. Although, something feels horribly off after they meet Devora.
The ballerinas must survive trap after trap that Devora has set for them. Who knew dancing was so cut throat!
