Merriwa’s Lachlan Walmsley has scored a spectacular winger’s try to open Wakefield Trinity’s account in a UK Super League pre-season trial win over Castleford.
The four-pointer came in the first few minutes of play with Lachie’s body fully in the air but his fingertips touching the ball within millimetres for the in-goal touchline.
The Trin ran out 38-8 winners.
