A teenage girl has allegedly been assaulted in a park on the NSW Central Coast, with police asking for public assistance.
Two 14-year-old girls were in a park in Wyong about 4.40pm on Friday when a man allegedly approached them. The man spoke to the girls before he allegedly grabbed the arm of one girl and tried to pull her towards a nearby toilet block.
The girl screamed and the man fled. The girls then went to police, who are now seeking a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
He has been described as being of Caucasian appearance with a large build, aged between 25 and 35 years old, and with brown hair. He was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants, a black T-shirt and a black cap, with a diamond stud in his right ear.
