The changed water restrictions are now in place for various areas of the Upper Hunter region.
Basically, Muswellbrook including Denman, Singleton, as well as Aberdeen and Scone are now all on Level 2 water restrictions.
Cassilis and Merriwa will remain on Level 1 water restrictions and Murrurundi will remain on Level 6 water restrictions until the Scone to Murrurundi pipeline project is complete and then they will be dropped back to Level 2 as their water source will be coming from Glenbawn Dam - the same water source for Scone and Aberdeen.
