Martindale residents are waking up this morning knowing today is probably their last chance they’ll have to make a plea to planners not to approve a proposed controversial 33-million greyhound centre on a neighbouring property.
The Hunter Central Coast Regional Planning Panel is holding a Public Information Meeting at Denman Hall this afternoon.
People attending to address the three member panel or listen in to proceedings were required to register with the Independent Planning Commission by close of business on Tuesday.
Those who couldn’t attend in person but asked to dial in were told that would not be possible due to not having the technical access to do so.
Upper Hunter MP Dave Layzell said while he supports the facility, exactly where it is built is not a matter for him to decide.
