Upper Hunter projects funded in State Budget

The Upper Hunter is set to receive funding for a number of projects after the State Budget was handed down yesterday.

The list includes money to progress the Singleton and Muswellbrook bypasses, further upgrades at Muswellbrook Hospital, a new home for the Fire and Rescue New South Wales fire station in Muswellbrook, Muswellbrook South Public School and TAFE in Scone.

Upper Hunter MP Dave Layzell said there are also some major policy shifts that are going to change everyone's lives for the better such as spending on the Health system and reforms to early childhood education.
