The lawyer of Singleton convicted child killer Kathleen Folbigg tells us her client is shattered the Attorney-General has chosen not to grant her a pardon despite new scientific evidence which proves her innocence.
Mark Speakman has announced a new inquiry has been ordered by the NEW SOUTH WALES Governor on his recommendation based on the new evidence presented to him by Folbigg's legal team.
She is currently serving a 40 year sentence after being convicted of murdering her children Patrick, Sarah and Laura, and for the manslaughter of her son Caleb.
Folbigg's lawyer Rhanee Rego said while the pardon was not given the new evidence will now at least come under close judicial scrutiny.
