A wanted Tamworth man has been charged with two outstanding warrants and a range of offences including incidents in the Upper Hunter.
A 33-year-old man was arrested on Kable Avenue in Tamworth after midday yesterday following investigations from the Hunter Valley and Oxley Police District as well as the Western Region Domestic Violence High Risk Offenders Team.
He was taken to Tamworth Police Station and charged with the two outstanding warrants for alleged assault, property and domestic-related offences.
Additionally, he was charged with three counts of enter inclosed land not prescribed premises without lawful excuse, assault occasioning actual bodily harm, contravene restriction in AVO (DV), two counts of intimidate police officer in execution of duty, two counts of assault officer in execution of duty, two counts of resist officer in execution of duty, escape police custody and breach of bail.
Police will allege in court that the further offences relate to separate incidents that occurred in Muswellbrook in December and Oxley Vale in November last year.
The man was refused bail to appear before Tamworth Local Court today.
