Emergency services called to single vehicle incident on Wybong Road


Emergency Services were called to Muswellbrook overnight following a single vehicle incident on Wybong Road. 

A male driver in his forties crashed with a guard rail at 1:48am.

The Fire and Rescue NSW Muswellbrook were in response to the call.

"Rescue Pumper 392 was responded to a MVA.

"Whilst at station the call was upgraded to Persons Trapped," Muswellbrook Fire and Rescue stated in a post.

A spokesperson from NSW Fire and Rescue told Radio Hunter Valley that when arriving on scene the male driver was already out of the vehicle.


The driver was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance Paramedics. 

A spokesperson from the NSW Ambulance Paramedics told Radio Hunter Valley he was assessed for fluids and taken to the John Hunter Hospital conscious and breathing. 

"Area was rendered safe and left in the hands of Hunter Valley Police District and Edinglassie Rural Fire Brigade," said Fire and Rescue NSW Muswellbrook in a post.
