Upper Hunter COVID-19 tally still rising

Another two cases of COVID-19 have been identified within the Upper Hunter regions. 

Hunter New England Health recorded one in the Muswellbrook LGA and one in Singleton. 

Heading north of the Valley, Gunnedah confirmed six new cases and Liverpool Plains in Werris Creek confirmed one. 

Of the new cases, 34 were infectious while in the community and 37 cases are linked to previously known clusters. 

There are 903 active cases across the Hunter regions. 

25 of the active cases are in hospital and three are in ICU.
