A woman aged in her fifties is recovering in the John Hunter Hospital in Newcastle this morning following a crash south of Scone late yesterday.
The smash occured on the New England Highway, just north of Sedgenhoe Road leaving the victim trapped.
She was cut free from the wreckage and rushed to Muswellbrook Hospital by ambulance paramedics with multiple injuries before being airlifted by the Westpac Rescue chopper.
