A Merriwa based council candidate says he won’t accept the way business has been done if he is elected at tomorrow’s poll.
Former Clubs NSW whistleblower Troy Stolz has been campaigning for a place on Upper Hunter Shire Council on a platform of returning transparency to how they operate.
He’s taken on the Clubs industry in NSW and won, he’s fighting cancer and now he’s set Upper Hunter Shire Council in his sights.
Troy Stolz is seeking one of 9 available spots on the Scone-based council.
He wants to review the council’s financial records and is against the proposed 33 percent rate increase.
Mr Stolz said he won’t accept the way business has been done if he is elected at tomorrow’s poll.
He’s told the iHeart Upper Hunter podcast…the status quo (the boys club) cannot remain and he’ll be putting the community first if he’s elected.
