Motorists are advised of changed weekend traffic conditions on Putty Road at Glenridding due to upcoming day and night construction work for the Sinlgeton Bypass.
Work will be carried out near Carrington Street to connect Putty Road to a newly constructed roundabout. To minimise traffic impacts, work will take place continuously from 7pm on Friday 1 May until 5am Monday 4 May, weather permitting. A contingency weekend is planned from 8 May to 11 May if required.
During the works, traffic will be managed using a temporary two‑way shuttle flow arrangement. Access will be maintained for residents, pedestrians and cyclists, with variable message signs in place and live updates available via Liive Traffic NSW.
There are expected to be significant delays for oversize and over‑mass vehicles. Operators with ground contact wider than 3.2 metres or an overall width greater than 4.5 metres are advised to contact the project team on 0469 435 505 before travelling. Motorists are urged to drive to the conditions and follow the directions of signs and traffic control.
