A Muswellbrook Shire Councillor believes the organisation needs to improve its engagement game with the community.
Louise Dunn is one of ten councillors seeking another term in office when ratepayers go to the ballot box on September 14.
She said issues like changes to red bin collections has taught her a lesson and she would be seeking to improve that area if she is re-elected.

Ms Dunn said keeping costs from blowing out during COVID has been a key achievement over the past four years.
She said the shire is in a strong financial state and she would work hard to maintain that.
