A Singleton Council road crew member has rejected being labelled a hero after saving the life of a snake bike victim.
Mick McMahon rendered first aid while a colleague called an ambulance after noticing Stuart Forrest extremely unwell outside the front of his house where they were repairing kerb and gutter.
Mick said he didn’t do anything extraordinary.
He revealed to the Hunter Valley Newsroom that he and work mates were packing up to leave the Singleton Heights street when they noticed a man in distress.
Mick said they immediately knew something was wrong so he ran to get their first aid kit while one of his colleagues rang for an ambulance.
