A woman has been assessed for injuries after a crash between a truck and a car is causing major delays for morning commuters.
Police were called to the scene around 7:25am, where the female driver of the car was found briefly trapped following the collision. She was freed by emergency crews and assessed by paramedics at the scene.
Authorities say the truck’s diesel tank ruptured during the crash, spilling fuel onto the roadside verge. The spill did not reach the roadway but has contributed to significant traffic delays as emergency services work to contain and clean the area.
