The Golden Highway has reopened at Singleton after being closed due to flooding.
The highway was closed in both directions between the New England Highway and Range Road.
At Raymond Terrace, part of Seaham Road has reopened between Newline Road and Raymond Terrace Road.
Stop/slow traffic control is in place near Newline Road.
Other road closures remain in place:
- The New England Highway remains closed between High Street and Cessnock Road at Maitland.
- There is a local diversion for light vehicles.
- Heavy vehicles are being directed on site.
Further north:
- The Oxley Highway remains closed between Yarras and Clay Road, west of Mount Seaview, due to a landslide.
In addition to state managed roads, some local roads managed by councils are also affected.
Motorists are advised to drive to the conditions, and are reminded never to drive through floodwaters.
On public transport:
- Buses continue to replace trains between Maitland and Dungog on the Hunter Line.
