As weather conditions continue to improve this week the SES is reminding people to be cautious around flood waters.
Fresh advice has been issued today for Scone and Denman to Monitor Conditions in low lying areas, which continue to be impacted by run off.
However, flooding on the Hunter River is no longer occurring according to the Bureau, and is expected to stay below the minor flood level.

Down the road, the Hunter River at Maitland (Belmore Bridge) peaked at nearly 6 meters on Tuesday night and has fallen below the minor flood level today.
