Motorists in Singleton are being advised of upcoming road investigations along Ryan Avenue, with engineering works scheduled across three days in early June.
Singleton Council has engaged specialist consultants to examine the current condition of the road, including service locating and bore hole sampling to assess the strength of the surface and subgrade.
Ryan Avenue is a major thoroughfare and is used daily by mine‑related and rural industry vehicles, with the investigations aimed at informing future maintenance and upgrade planning.
Works will take place between 7am and 5pm on Monday June 1, Tuesday June 9 and Wednesday June 10. Traffic control will be in place during testing, and motorists are encouraged to allow additional travel time.
Council has thanked the community for its patience while the important investigations are carried out.
