An international mining services company has announced a scholarship in honour of one of their employees and a victim of the Greta Bus Crash.
Singleton woman Tori Cowburn was when of ten people who died in the tragedy on the June Long Weekend last year.
Her employer Thiess revealing the “Tori Cowburn Scholarship” will be awarded to a local Hunter Region female to enter and complete their university studies in a discipline specific to mining.

Tori was planning to travel overseas at the completion of Mount Owen and then return to the company to continue her working career at the Muswellbrook Coal Rehabilitation Project.
