A man who killed a Muswellbrook woman 30 years ago has admitted to delivering a six-month campaign of horror to his ex-girlfriend in the state’s south.
The Telegraph reports Kevin Dean Scroop subjected his victim to six months of horror shielded by the walls of his Port Kembla unit.
The 49-year-old was convicted of the 1993 murder of 26-year-old Muswellbrook woman Tracey Ann James.
He beat her to death and discarded her body in a stormwater drain.
Scroop will be sentenced on his latest charges later this year. Till then he remains behind bars.
