Australian pop artist Tones and I has announced plans for a one-off concert in any town that can generate the most online buzz – and both Singleton and Muswellbrook are throwing their hats in the ring.
The artist posted on social media promising a $10 ticket show on February 20, complete with a full band and choir. “Whatever place goes the hardest gets the show,” the post read, adding that she would even bring her own stage to a small town if required.
Locals in Muswellbrook have launched a Facebook page to rally support and encourage followers to help bring the performance to the Upper Hunter. The winner will be announced on Sunday the 25th of January.
Fans are urged to get behind the campaign and show their support online to give Muswellbrook a shot at hosting the unique event.
