Work is set to start on the Muswellbrook Bypass after the awarding of a contract for demolition works.
The 336-million dollar project, decades in the making, designed to remove up to 20 thousand vehicle movements from the town centre every day.
The Commonwealth to pay for the majority of the bill….269-million dollars with the remainder from the State.

Regional Transport and Roads Minister Sam Farraway said the project will deliver great benefits to Muswellbrook.
