More urgent housing needed for local DV victims

More housing options for victims of domestic and family in the Upper Hunter.

That’s a key priority from the Hunter Domestic and Family Violence Consortium, who have handed over their pre-budget wish list to the State Government.

Spokesperson Lisa Ronneberg has told the new iHeart Upper Hunter podcast…the request comes amidst the latest stats which show the crime has risen locally by almost 50 percent in the past two years.
