Australia Post has confirmed the Merriwa Licensed Post Office will keep trading beyond this Thursday, following a recent expression of interest process to find a new operator for the site.
The post office will finish trading at its current location on Friday 14 August at 5pm, before reopening under new management at a new site at 135 Bettington Street from 9am on Monday 17 August.
Australia Post said the relocation would not affect the services on offer, with current trading hours and services set to continue at the new location.

During the changeover period, customers with PO Boxes will be able to collect their mail over the counter, while arrangements for ongoing PO Box services at the new site are finalised.
