A candidate for the upcoming Singleton Council election says she wants to ensure the town leverages future opportunities so the area continues to prosper.
Businesswoman Anne McGowan is one of the 12 candidates vying for nine places on Saturday week.
She said with so much discussion about an economic transition in Singleton having a strategic focus is critical.

“We need councilors that can look at that and make the right decisions.”
Anne also said construction of the new Singleton Bypass presents some great opportunities for local businesses.
