Upper Hunter Shire Mayor Maurice Collison has attacked his council colleague Elizabeth Flaherty over her questioning the financial viability of the Scone Saleyards.
Councillor Flaherty raised the question earlier this week after revealing the council-owned facility had lost one and a half million dollars over the past three years.
This follows a forecast by the mayor in 2020 that it would break even by now.

But Councillor Collison said Councillor Flaherty would know what action is being taken if she attended the Council’s Saleyards Committee meetings.
