A man has been taken to hospital in a serious condition following an industrial accident near Singleton on Thursday morning.
The Westpac Rescue Helicopter was tasked by NSW Ambulance to Elderslie about 11.15am, after reports a man had suffered crush injuries when his hand became trapped in the rear of a trailer.
The man, aged in his 40s, was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics, NSW Fire and Rescue, Police Rescue and the helicopter’s critical care medical team. He was transported by road ambulance to John Hunter Hospital in a serious condition.
