A man has been transported to Muswellbrook Hospital after his Ute collided with a train at Sandy Hollow this morning.
Emergency services were called to the level crossing on Goulburn Drive around 7:40am Tuesday.
Police were told the man driving the Ute had his vision impaired due to the sun. His vehicle sustained major damage, but the driver was taken to hospital with minor abrasions.

Traffic diversions are still in place.
