A man is facing court after police descended on a home in Muswellbrook yesterday afternoon.
Hunter Valley Police, with assistance from Tactical Operations and State Crime Command officers, were executing a search warrant in connection with an alleged public place shooting in Denman earlier in the month.
The officers allegedly found multiple items of interest, including two loaded homemade firearms, a loaded shortened .22 calibre rifle and ammunition.
The 27 year-old was charged with 17 offences including aggravated break and enter with intent -armed, and multiple firearms offences.
He was refused bail to appear in Singleton Local Court today.
