Upper Hunter MP Dave Layzell said Bayswater Power Station should be included in the State Government’s Plan B to keep the lights on in New South Wales.
The Premier announced yesterday they were in discussions with Origin Energy to keep Eraring Power Station operating for longer to help make up the initial shortfall in renewable energy.
Mr Layzell said adding Bayswater would collectively buy us more time.
