New England MP Barnaby Joyce has jumped to the defence of Opposition Leader Peter Dutton after he was accused of telling porkies during his visit to the Upper Hunter last week.
Federal Hunter MP Dan Repacholi accused Mr Dutton of inventing so-called support in Muswellbrook for a nuclear reactor at Liddell.
But Mr Joyce said Mr Repacholi should take a look in the mirror.

“I reckon in his heart of hearts, Dan would support nuclear. He’s just not allowed to say it.”
