The Federal Government said they won’t be taking any shortcuts like Upper Hunter Shire Council when it comes to the Merriwa to Willow Tree Road.
The council and New England MP Barnaby Joyce have reissued their urgent plea for the Commonwealth to hand over the 36 million dollars in promised funding to rebuild the collapsed section of MR358.
But neighbouring Federal MP Dan Repacholi said the Minister is following a well-established process before handing over such a large chunk of taxpayer’s cash.
