Glencore’s Hunter Valley operations provide 6.7 billion dollars of economic value

6-point-7 billion dollars in direct contributions to Australia’s economy.

That’s the number the Hunter Valley’s biggest coal mine operator Glencore have revealed was produced from here in the Hunter Valley in 2022.

Glencore’s Cass McCarthey said this includes working with hundreds of local business.

The company operates nine coal mines in the Hunter Valley.
