Federal Opposition doubles down on nuclear

The Federal Opposition has vowed to consult with the Upper Hunter community before going ahead with installing small-scale nuclear power generators in our area.

The Coalition is testing public opinion on the issue before deciding its position ahead of the next national election.

The site of the former Liddell Power Station has been earmarked by the Opposition as one of three locations for the controversial option to be established.

According to a report in The Australian, the other places are Central and North Queensland.
