The Singleton Emergency Services Expo will return next month, offering an action‑packed morning of live demonstrations, simulations and hands‑on activities for the whole community.

The free, family‑friendly event will be held on Saturday May 16 from 9am to 12pm at Ciivic Park, delivered in partnership with Singleton Council.

A wide range of emergency services will be represented, including NSW Rural Fire Service, Fire and Rescue NSW, NSW Police, NSW State Emergency Service, NSW Ambulance and the Westpac Rescue Helicopter Service, along with other supporting agencies.

Singleton Mayor Sue Moore said the expo gave residents a chance to see emergency services at work and learn how to better prepare.

“This event showcases the skill, coordination and capability of our local emergency services, while giving residents practical information to help them prepare for emergencies,” Cr Moore said.

The morning will include live scenarios such as a multi‑agency storm simulation involving a car crash and downed powerlines, RFS Juniors skill displays, emergency vehicles on show, and family‑friendly activities including a mascot race and best‑dressed competition for children.

Cr Moore said the expo was also an opportunity to recognise the dedication of emergency service volunteers and professionals who protect the community every day.
