Motorists are being advised of changed traffic conditions on the Golden Highway between Long Point West near Warkworth and Gouldsville Road at Gouldsville due to scheduled maintenance work.
The work includes culvert cleaning and repairs and will be carried out from Monday 18 May until Thursday 4 June, between 7am and 4pm, Monday to Thursday. The project is expected to take around four weeks, weather permitting.
During the works, traffic control measures including a single lane closure, alternating stop‑slow arrangements and a reduced speed limit of 40 kilometres per hour will be in place to ensure the safety of workers and motorists.
Over‑size and over‑mass vehicles wider than five metres are advised to contact the project team on UHF Channel 26 to arrange an escort through the work area. Motorists are reminded to drive to conditions and follow directions from traffic controllers and roadside signage.
