A call has been made for Upper Hunter Shire Mayor Maurice Collison to act immediately to provide a safe working environment for one of his councillors.
Councillor Elizabeth Flaherty is refusing to deal with General Manager Greg McDonald after lodging a bullying claim against him last year.
As late as last week the mayor wrote to the councillor to tell her she must still deal with the GM despite this.

Councillor Flaherty said the mayor’s attitude towards her workplace safety issues is very concerning.
