Council facilities to close early for Scone Cup public holiday

All Upper Hunter Shire Council facilities will close at 12pm this Friday, 15 May, due to the Scone Cup half‑day public holiday.

The early closure will apply to council administration buildings, waste facilities, libraries, the Early Learning Centre and youth centres across the shire.

Residents are being encouraged to plan ahead if they need to access council services on the day.

Council has confirmed that emergency assistance will still be available after hours for issues involving roads, bridges, animal control, water, sewer or landfill services.
